LPC’s Speaker Night for May 12 will feature Scott Musson speaking on black light (ultraviolet) photography, followed by opportunities for you to make your own black light photos at two different stations. Although ultraviolet (UV) is invisible to the eye, illuminating many materials, such as glass, with UV light causes the material to produce fluorescence and phosphorescence, with striking colors. Bring your camera and tripod, with a close-focusing lens, and compose and capture your own unique images. Here are a few examples of Scott’s work with black light
