Judge – Henry Ng

High-dynamic-range imaging ( HDR) is a technique used in imaging and photography to reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminosity than is possible with standard digital imaging or photographic techniques.

You can achieve it with programs such as HDR Efex Pro (which is in the Nik Collection, Google just gave away free) Photomatix. But it’s in Photoshop and LR as well. With the first two you can make your image pushed to the limits and not. With PS and LR, they will blend your bracketed images in a more nature state and you have to do more editing and you would if you normally in either Program.
And you can just use one image, with PS or LR, to get the same as if you would use many images blended together with a HDR software program.
High Contrast~ It’s “simple” pushing the bounds of the subject, lights darks and colors. To make them stand out or in a case it’s opposite.
