LPC’s speaker for Thursday, November 12th is John Barclay. He’ll be speaking on “Discovery and the Creative Choice”. It’s our honor to welcome John before his appearance on Nature Vision Expo later that weekend.
Here’s what he says on the subject.
“Discovering a worthy subject or photograph can be difficult. As I have lead workshops through the years, I have noticed this to be an issue for many of my students. I myself have had feelings of inadequacy and uncertainty in my ability to create or even find (discover) worthy images. In this presentation, I focus on what I call the FUD (fears, uncertainty and doubt) we all face in our photography and share ideas of how we can overcome these. As we learn to eliminate this FUD we will be liberated to pursue the creative process with joy rather than angst!” — John Barclay.
