Dec 10 - LPC Members Night with Presentations

Join us for an evening to share photos and conversations with other members.  Michelle Moomey will be doing a brief presentation about complementary colors ahead of our January photo competition.  Unfortunately, Damon Hunt had to cancel his presentation on Fashion Photography.  We will try to reschedule him sometime in the new year. 

Currently scheduled location is GWU Bldg. 1 (map: 20101 Academic Way, Ashburn, 20147) in room RESRC1-101. 

Members - bring your latest photos to share! 

The club will provide pizza and drinks.

After the meeting, you are welcome to join us for drinks and comraderie at “Not Your Average Joe’s” off of Belmont Ridge Road north of Rt 7 in Ashburn/Lansdowne.

Nov. 12 - Ian Plant “Local Places to Shoot”

Many thanks to Ian Plant for his presentation to LPC last night! We had over 50 people in attendance for an informative session. Afterwards, Ian had books for sell and signed copies for our club members.

Ian Plant, author of 50 Amazing Things You Must See and Do in the Greater D.C. Area, will discuss local places to take photographs, both the obvious, and the not so well known. 

NOTICE: The scheduled location has been changed to GWU Bldg 2,  Room 175.  This is the building to the right at the Stop sign.  We will be having dinner with the presenter before the meeting at Rubino’s (see the locations page for directions).
